All the recipes here are tried and tested. Some from my grand mother’s generation passed down to me, most modified to reflect the healthier choice. Never knew they used so much lard, butter, and almost everything delicious is deep fried! I have personally cooked these recipes on a regular basis and when I have the privilege of observing my parents’ cooking, I relish in documenting every step. Hope you enjoy them!

Here’s something we had for lunch yesterday. Rice Vermicelli, a really thin (think Angel Hair) rice noodle, with scrambled eggs, shredded duck meat, prawns, and veges! It was cooked without using a drop of oil.
